Jason Stockman founder of LocalVid Pro promises done-for-you videos for local businesses, setup his landing page claiming that we all know that the best promotional tool is video, and that people no longer want to read.
He claims that instead, people choose to watch videos, and that’s why the popularity of video content is growing every day.
Then a claim is made that you can make easy money every month selling local business videos without knowing the first thing about making videos.
The following statement appears, that there are three main reasons that local business owners do not use videos to promote their business:
- Making videos from scratch is extremely difficult and requires a LOT of hard work.
- Buying the right video clips and background music requires a lot of money.
- Learning how to use a video editor is complicated and requires a lot of time.
Apparently, this is where you are to come in.
Promises are made that in a few minutes you can have a professional, high quality video ready for them… and that this is supposed to be easy money in your pocket.
And, it is stated that you do not need to be an expert in video editing, and in fact you don’t need to know anything about making videos.
Apparently, all you need is PowerPoint, because the landing page claims that everything else is done for you.

Below these is a promise that to make if easy, they will deliver these videos in two versions:
- MP4 format that you can use in any video editor.
- PPTX format that you can easily modify in PowerPoint.
You are then promised that this video pack gives you all that you need to make videos in 20 local niches, even if you are a complete newbie.
And, again you are reminded that you can edit the business name, the website URL and the telephone number… all without any expensive software and without being an expert in video editing.
A further claim is made that all you need is PowerPoint 2013 or above.
Apparently, you can use this done-for-you video pack over and over again to create as many videos for local businesses as you need.

PROS
Suprisingly enough, you really do get what you were promised when receiving the high quality videos and the editable PPTX PowerPoint files.
The PPTX file that is only ONE slide where you can edit the local business’s information IS connected to their MP4 file.
So, when working with the PowerPoint file be SURE that the relevant MP4 file accompanies the PPTX file so that once you Export your PPTX file to video, your video will be all in ONE piece, displaying the information you edited in the PowerPoint file.
CONS
Do not believe these videos to be exclusive or sufficient enough to actually offer to local businesses as an exclusive product.
There needs to be another video added to either his landing page or another tutorial video added to the download files, showing newbies the entire steps that need to be made in creating their local business videos, proving to newbies that they matter too.
My Take on LocalVid Pro 2
The reasons I did not give LocalVid Pro 2 a 5 out of 5 stars is due to the lack of proper training, especially when the landing page targeted newbies.
And, due to what I deem as a lack of uniqueness to the ads themselves.
Really folks, if these types of commercials were the ONLY commercials on TV today, do you really think that viewers would be intrigued to listen to them?
Summary
When buying this product, and having made the assumption that the entire video would be included in the PPTX file, where I could edit out the audio and add any necessary slides to make my local business commercials stand out, I have to say that I was a tad disappointed with Jason Stockman’s LocalVid Pro 2.
Though buyers DO get exactly what he promises in that you need NO OTHER software in creating his video ads.
Please do be careful when approaching local business owners.
They are not that naive when it comes to quality video ads. I feel that the content in these videos to be far too basic to actually think you can make money using only these to sell to your local business owners.
Having said that… they might be nice as a freebie for having purchased other packages from you.
